Congrats to RMBJJF Competitors!

On Saturday April 17th, Dark Horse BJJ brought a team of 7 competitors to compete in the 5th Colorado State Grappling Championships and took home 7 medals. Professor Jubera closed out the Advanced No Gi Open Weight division and the Brown/Black Open Weight division with friend Tyrone Glover. Todd continued to dominate bringing back 2 golds and a bronze from fighting in 8 matches. Neil persevered in his division, winning in the finals in the 5th overtime.

We are very proud of all our competitors and the students who helped them prepare.

Next up is the Fight to Win competition on May 22nd and then the World Championships in June.

First Sparring Drills Class April 2, 2010

The first Sparring Drills class will start on Friday, April 2, 2010. As our students continue to improve under Coach Dave Tamarchenko, we are starting to prepare them for sparring and eventually competition. This class is the next step for students who are feeling comfortable in the Thai Boxing class and wish to start moving to the next level. Shin pads, gloves and mouth guards are highly recommended.
